Privacy Policy (CR-SUBEB PP Mobile App)

This mobile application (“the App”) is developed and managed by the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB) (“we”, “our”, or “us”). The App is intended solely for use by authorized government officials while performing official duties.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the App, the following information is collected:

Photographs: Images captured within the App.
Location Data: GPS coordinates automatically embedded in each photo.
Device Information: Limited technical details (for example, device type and operating-system version) for support and security purposes.
User Account Information: Created and managed centrally by CR-SUBEB administrators through the web backend.

2. Purpose of Collection

The information collected is used strictly for CR-SUBEB government operations, including:

Verification and validation of field reports.
Ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of submitted data.
Monitoring, decision-making, and recordkeeping in line with CR-SUBEB’s official mandate.

This data is not used for marketing or profiling and is not shared with external entities except as required by law.

3. Data Security

All photos and location data are securely transmitted to and stored on government-managed servers.
Encryption and access controls are applied to protect data from unauthorized access.
Only designated CR-SUBEB officials with appropriate clearance can access the stored information.

4. User Accounts and Access

Accounts are created and managed exclusively by authorized CR-SUBEB administrators.
Users cannot self-register within the App.
Each account is linked to an authorized government official for accountability.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained only as long as required for official purposes.
Data deletion and account removal can only be performed by authorized CR-SUBEB administrators through the web backend.
End users cannot directly delete or alter stored information from the App.

6. Restricted Use

This App is provided exclusively for official CR-SUBEB government use. Unauthorized use, data manipulation, or access attempts are strictly prohibited and may be subject to disciplinary or legal action.

7. Changes to This Policy

CR-SUBEB may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in policy, legal requirements, or technical improvements. Users will be informed of any material changes.
